DescriptionWe are looking to recruit a Technical Co-ordinator to create and maintain technical data on our SAP System. This role will liaise with the NPD project teams and production areas, on both new product development and product improvement activity and ensure the Technical integrity of the SAP data.
Key Responsibilities:
•To create and maintain SAP technical data ( Material Masters, Bills of materials, engineering change masters,
•To implement product improvements within SAP system using effectivity dates in agreement with production
•To co-ordinate the creation of other functions data in a timely manor
•Tracking and analysing data setup and reporting to the NPD project teams using the Diagnostics tool
•Interface between NPD and the manufacturing sites planners and production areas
•First point of contact for NPD staff for SAP related issues
•SAP Problem solving and chasing missing data
•Developing and running data cleansing reports
•Data manipulation for automatic uploads and amends
•Data manipulation for regular and adhoc reports
•To assist, advise, train internal customers on technical SAP data and the interrogation of the SAP system
•Advise / Assist the SAP Exploitation Team, who work on longer-term projects and process improvements in SAP.
•To control the Issuing of Product and component part numbers
•To develop a good working relationship with the other Data Team members
Qualifications•Educated to degree standard
•Excellent interpersonal skills, good English language skills the ability to communicate at all levels
•Pro-active approach, capable of working on own initiative
•working knowledge of SAP with particular respect to the material masters And boms
•knowledge of MRP systems ,planning and back flushing
•Excellent Notes and EXCEL skills.
•Ability to work alone and in teams.
•Ability to prioritise work and escalate effectively where issues are uncovered.
•Good understanding of the end-to-end business processes (NPD to manufacture)
•Experience with data manipulation and varied styles of reporting.
•Pro-active, "can do" attitude to SAP and data issues.
